Fine dust in the Cyprus skies is expected to hang around until Sunday with no rain on the horizon to help wash it away.
Speaking to The Cyprus Weekly on Friday, Meteorological Service official Mattheos Papadakis said the dust was quite high in the atmosphere and so not expected to create respiratory and other related problems. He also said the dust had not affected an anticipated rise in temperatures expected to see the inland maximum reach up to 30°C on Friday and Saturday.
