Cyprus is in the throws a mini-heat wave with temperatures expected to rise to as high as 40°C on Monday and Tuesday, prompting the Health Ministry to advise vulnerable members of the public to take particular care.
Temperatures on the coasts will on Monday reach 36°C on the east coast, 34°C on the south and north coast, 32°C on the west coast and 31°C in the mountains.
