AN Israeli man was rescued from a cruise ship headed to Larnaca early Friday while the vessel was off the coast of Paphos, after suffering pulmonary edema.
According to a Defence Ministry announcement, the Larnaca Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) was alerted at 6.55am by the “Golden Iris” cruise ship to rescue an Israeli passenger who had suffered pulmonary edema – fluid in the lung that can cause heart failure.
