Cyprus was sixth among EU nations for the decrease in commercial flights in August 2021 compared to 2019, with a slump of 23.8 per cent.
Although a considerable knock, the reduction was notably less than Finland (60 per cent) which had the highest decrease, followed by Ireland (55 per cent).
The report by Eurostat published on Tuesday showed that Cyprus’ drop was almost identical to Malta’s 23.7 per cent.
