Five tons of humanitarian aid is on its way to Lebanon from the newly built Ayia Napa marina on Thursday in an initiative coordinated by the marina together with the Constantia-Famagusta Bishopric, with the participation of the ministry of defence and the national guard.
The operation began at 9am and will involve four large boats delivering food and medicine to the people of Beirut after a deadly blast on August 4 killed over 200 people in the capital, leaving thousands homeless.
