Catching travelers by surprise, low-cost airline Cobalt, which has operated flights in and out of Cyprus since 2016, has cancelled all flights from midnight Wednesday. The announcement was made via a statement on the airline’s website.
Local media in Cyprus reported that Cobalt had failed to reach a deal with a potential new investor.
According to The Cyprus Mail, the airline’s main backer is China’s Avic Joy Air.
